AMP Dental Assisting (Feb)
with Academy of Medical Professions

This is a 12-week Certificate program in Dental Assisting, one of the most high-demand careers. The program is designed to teach all aspects of dental assisting and provide you with the skills you need to work in this field and pass a national certificate exam. This program is taught by a dentist and includes Dental Assisting Certification, and an opportunity for internships. We now offer an option for lab days, please ask for more details!
The price of the course includes all books, exam preparation materials and fees for the DANB RHS® certificate program. Upon passing the DANB RHS®, you will receive a certificate of knowledge based on competency for that component from DANB. Payment plans are available. The classroom hours are live online with options for lab days in a dental office based on student's location and availability. This course is also available asynchronosly online and you can start anytime.

AMP Medical Coding (Feb)
with Academy of Medical Professions

This is an all inclusive 20-week, in-depth medical coding course for CPC certification through AAPC. This program is designed to teach all aspects of medical coding, provide you with the skills needed to become nationally certified and get into the job market as a Certified Professional Coder.
This certificate program includes Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, CPC-A exam, AAPC membership, 3 practice CPC tests and all books. Basic computer skills are required. Adding Practicode (6-10 week online program), will remove the apprenticeship designation from the CPC credential (additional $1200). Payment plans are available. This is a live online course meeting once a week. This course is also available on demand online.

This is an all-inclusive 16-week program that includes in-person skills labs and live via ZOOM class meetings that prepare you to pass the National Certification.
Upon completion of the program, you will sit for your CCMA (Clinical Certified Medical Assistant) national certification exam through NHA. The fee for the class includes national certification, 6 practice exams, online study guide materials, books, resume assistance, and all other associated fees. Externships may be available in your area. Payment plans are available. The classroom hours are live online. Additional clinical hours are in-person as locally as feasible. Certification tests are offered locally.

This is an all-inclusive, entirely online 16-week certification course, providing practical real-world skills essential for success in the healthcare field. This course consists of Medical Terminology, Medical Front Office Skills, Electronic Medical Records Boot Camp, and Medical Billing. In addition, upon completion of all courses, you will sit for your CMAA (Certified Medical Administrative Assistant) Certification exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
The fee includes national certification, all books, fees, and resume and job assistant. Payment plans available. The classroom hours are live online or online anytime, self-paced.

Human Biology with Lab

This online course presents the major human biological principles including biochemistry, cell biology, DNA and genetics, human anatomy and physiology, including directional terms and orientation, and more.
Students will experience the process of science through the conduction of virtual dissections, microscopy and other laboratory experiments and research. Whenever possible, equipment and supplies will be available for loan for lab sessions. This college pre-requisite course is offered for high school diploma credit. This is an in-person class.

Vanessa loves working with adult learners. She is really easy to be around and makes people extremely comfortable; she even makes learning math and computers fun! She is committed to helping adults discover their strengths, build their confidence, and realize they can accomplish their goals. In her free time, she loves to travel and explore the outdoors. Chemistry with Lab

This course provides students with an introduction to the major theories and concepts in chemistry. The science will be explored through lectures, lab activities, projects and research. Math skills needed to perform necessary calculations will also be reviewed.
By the end of this course, students will have gained a true understanding of the composition of matter, how matter is categorized, how matter interacts, the Atomic Theory throughout history, the signs and causes of chemical reactions, and the properties and structure of matter. This college pre-requisite course is offered for high school diploma credit. This is a live, online class using ZOOM.

Heartsaver BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider (Mar)

This professional certification course certifies the student in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and choking protocols for all age groups, as well as other advanced skills including ventilation with an advanced airway or bag mask device. This is an in-person class.

AMP Phlebotomy (Mar)
with Academy of Medical Professions

Become nationally certified as a Phlebotomy Technician in 10 weeks. This course is all-inclusive and prepares you for national certification with live classes via ZOOM and in-person skills labs. You will be able to perform basic phlebotomy procedures, evaluate patients for their ability to withstand venipuncture, explain the procedure and answer the patient's questions, perform basic point of care testing such as blood glucose levels on patients, and prepare blood, urine, and other body fluid specimens for testing according to established standards.
