Ellsworth Adult and Community Education

Learn different dances each week - Partner Hustle, Salsa, Mambo, Rhumba, East Coast Swing, ChaCha, NightClub Two-Step, Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, and Charleston. Learn the basics or improve on what you already know, and have fun!  No dance experience necessary. Dance shoes strongly suggested.  In these times, this dance class does require partners.  This is an in-person class.  No class 1/20/25 or 02/17/25; make up class, if needed, 3/3/2025.

David Lamon is an experienced teacher, dancer and choreographer who has studied and taught a wide variety of dance forms and techniques.  Whether he is teaching jazz, modern, improv, or ballroom, David’s classes are fun, engaging, and demonstrate a thoughtful attention to the foundations of each dance.  Whatever the form, David believes that dance is a doorway to the synchronistic creativity of being in the moment.
