Location and date change - please see below. This archery education course will provide a student with a wealth of knowledge regarding equipment, proper hunting methods, responsibilities, and general safety. Course covers equipment, personal safety, survival/first aid, hunter responsibility, map and compass, ethics and landowner rights. Passage of a final exam is required. You must attend both classes to receive your certificate. This class is required to be eligible to purchase a crossbow license. Please bring a bag lunch for the Saturday class. Ernie has been teaching CPR/First Aid courses for more than 20 years as well as outdoor recreation safety courses for the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
Maine Inland Fisheries & Wildlife courses are available to students 10 years of age and older; school age students must be accompanied by an adult.
